The following Conditions of Sale and Terms constitute the entire agreement with the purchaser relative to the property listed in this catalogue. By bidding on an item, you are stating that you do hereby, accept the Terms and Conditions Of this Auction.
No1 Auctions charges a 25% hammer fee for all items and shipping at the stated amount for each item sold. This will be added to the hammer price or invoiced separately at a later date.
No1 Auctions asks for all your identity requirements as well as a credit/debit card to be added to our online payment system to bid. By doing so you are agreeing for that card to be charged by No1 Auctions should you be a winning bidder. You will only be charged for one amount of shipping unless otherwise expressed.
It is your responsibility to ensure there is sufficient money on your card to be charged and failure to do so will result in your suspension from No1 Auctions.
- No1 Auctions acts solely as an agent for various owners and consignors. It exercises care in describing all items listed and uses judgment in attributing authorship, but offers no guarantee regarding authenticity, condition, or description. The items described in this catalogue, are offered for sale by No1 Auctions as an agent for various owners or others authorised to sell the items. Hereinafter, No1 Auctions is referred to as the Seller’s agent. The owners or others authorised to sell the items are hereinafter referred to as Sellers. The person or persons acknowledged by the auctioneer to be the highest bidder on an item shall be hereinafter referred to as the Buyer or Buyers. The following Conditions of Sale and Terms of Guarantee constitute the entire agreement with the purchaser relative to the property listed in this catalogue. By bidding at auction, you agree to be bound by these terms:
- All lots are sold as is, and without recourse and neither No1 Auctions nor its consignor makes any warranties or representations, express or implied, with respect to such lots, except for the limited warranties expressly stated in the Terms of Guarantee section of this catalogue. Prospective buyers are strongly advised to examine any property in which they are interested, before the auction takes place, to determine its authenticity, provenance, condition, size, and whether or not it has been repaired or restored. Except as otherwise expressly and specifically provided in the Terms of Guarantee, neither No1 Auctions nor its consignor makes any express or implied warranty or representation of any kind or nature with respect to merchantability, fitness for purpose, correctness of the catalogue or other description of the physical condition, size, quality, rarity, importance, medium, material, genuineness, attribution, authenticity, provenance, period, culture, source, origin, exhibitions, literature or historical significance of any lot sold. Neither No1 Auctions nor the seller is responsible in any way for errors or omissions in the catalogue or any supplemental material. Buyers are responsible for satisfying themselves concerning the condition of the property and the matters referred to in the catalogue entry.
- It is the sole responsibility of the buyer to carefully inspect and determine condition, age, value, and any other determinative factor. Online and off-site bidders understand and acknowledge that they are limited to the images and descriptions given for their inspection, and any requests for additional information MUST be submitted at least 48 hours before the auction begins.
- Auction house reserves the right to change, alter, or remove a listing at any time before the start of an auction regardless if bids have been placed on the item.
- No1 Auctions will not be responsible for omissions or errors in the description of the merchandise unless it is a material and intentional misrepresentation of the item itself. "Repro", when noted in item listing, refers to that item being a reproduction item. No statement made in any advertising or informational materials for auction, nor made orally or online is intended to be a warranty or guarantee of the age, condition, quality, provenance or origin of any item offered for sale.
- ALL SALES ARE FINAL, NO REFUNDS & RETURNS Buyer accepts responsibility for examining any item offered for sale, investigating its background and informing himself/herself of these matters necessary to evaluate the item as a potential purchase.
- Should a dispute arise over the authenticity, it is our policy to have the purchaser obtain at their expense, an opinion (or two, in some cases and at our discretion) of recognised experts in the field, mutually acceptable by both No1 Auctions and the purchaser.
- All Certificates of authenticity and documentation are provided by the consignees, we do not check or verify them, it is the responsibility of the buyer to verify the COA, and all the related documentation.
- No1 Auctions accept Credit/Debit Cards through an online accredited company called “STRIPE “. No1 Auctions will also accept international payments in Great British Pounds only. We DO NOT accept any other currency unless otherwise agreed.
- Should an item be damaged on receipt contact us immediatley so we can start an investigation, the standard time period applies.
